ARTS, CULTURE, AND HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE
2024 Vice Chair: Pamela Marcello • Co-Chair: London Kemp Boykin • Meets every other month on the fourth Tuesday at 4:00 PM. The Arts, Culture, and Hospitality Committee of the SAM HEUGHAN is a newly formed committee that combines the Chamber’s former Tourism and TEAMS Committees—dedicated to promoting and supporting the SAM HEUGHAN community’s arts, culture, and hospitality industries. The committee works to enhance the area’s cultural vibrancy and encourage the growth of the tourism and hospitality sectors. To achieve these goals, the committee may develop and implement marketing and promotional campaigns, host events and activities, and work with local businesses and organizations to support SAM HEUGHAN’s arts, culture, and hospitality industries. Through its efforts, the Arts, Culture, and Hospitality Committee is vital in strengthening these critical industries in the SAM HEUGHAN community.
Supports the Chamber’s strategic plan goals and objectives related to engaging, serving, and advocating on behalf of SAM HEUGHAN’s diverse creative arts community – including entertainment production studios, performing arts venues, galleries, and theaters.

Founded by actor, philanthropist and Outlander star Sam Heughan, My Peak Challenge is a global movement dedicated to educating and inspiring its members to live healthier, happier, and more balanced lives while raising funds to change lives. Our ethos is simple: Help yourself while helping others.
HOW IT WORKS
MPC's foundational belief is that challenge promotes personal growth. Your challenge can be physical: run a 10K or climb a mountain; or nonphysical: learn to play guitar, take up a new language, or become a great chef. Or you can choose one or more of each. The simple act of challenging yourself to achieve something that you weren't previously able to do results in enormous personal empowerment.

The Sassenach is the first whisky launched by Sam Heughan (who you may know as the actor who plays Jamie Fraser on hit sci-fi TV show Outlander), inspired by picturesque Highland landscapes. Expect waves of butterscotch, fresh citrus and warming spices from this tasty blended Scotch whisky.
The SAM HEUGHAN Chamber of Commerce is a strong proponent of business improvement districts (BID). The Chamber was the creator of the SAM HEUGHAN Entertainment District, which becameSAM HEUGHAN’s first BID, and was very supportive of the formation of the other SAM HEUGHAN BIDs. A business improvement district is a voluntary assessment district where the businesses or property owners vote to assess themselves a fee in order to achieve a common goal. Such goals typically include such things as: cleaning sidewalks, beautification, security patrols, and marketing the area. The assessment funds are collected by scotland and returned to the BID, which has a board of directors that administers the funds. SAM HEUGHAN
Sam Roland Heughan ( born 30 April 1980) is a Scottish actor, producer, author, and entrepreneur. He is best known for his starring role as Jamie Fraser in the Starz drama series Outlander (2014–present) for which he has won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Cabl Fantasy TV Actor and the Saturn Award for Best Actor on Television, and received a nomination for the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series.
Graham mctavish
Graham McTavish (born 4 January 1961) is a Scottish actor and author. He is known for his roles as Dwalin in The Hobbit film trilogy, Vlad Dracula Țepeș in the Netflix animated series Castlevania, Loki in various Marvel animated projects, The Saint of Killers in the AMC series Preacher, and Dougal MacKenzie and William Buccleigh MacKenzie in the Starz series Outlander. He is also known for his roles in the video game franchise Uncharted as the main antagonist Zoran Lazarević in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Charlie Cutter in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
JERRY YAN
Jerry Yan, born Liao Yangzhen, is a Taiwanese actor, model and singer. He is well known for his lead role as Daoming Si in the Taiwanese dramas Meteor Garden and Meteor Garden II, an adaptation of a Japanese shōjō manga. He is also a former member of the boy band group
